A rigid box — also called a set-up box — is constructed from thick greyboard wrapped in printed paper, fabric or specialty material. Unlike folding cartons, rigid boxes are non-collapsible, holding their shape to convey weight, permanence and value.

Every rigid box format we produce is engineered to a brief — material, weight, tolerance, mechanism and finish. Below are the constructions we manufacture most often.
Magnetic Closure Box
Book-style hinged lid with concealed magnets.
A folding-style rigid box with a hinged lid that snaps shut via hidden neodymium magnets. Offers a premium unboxing arc and a flat surface ideal for foil stamping or embossing.
Common usesApparel, electronics, subscription kits, premium gifting, corporate hampers.
Telescopic (Two-Piece) Box
Separate lid and base that fit over each other.
The classic shoebox-style construction. Lid and base are manufactured independently and the lid telescopes fully over the base — partial or full depth. Sturdy, timeless and protective.
Common usesFootwear, hampers, presentation kits, sweet boxes, gift sets.
Shoulder Neck Box
Three-piece box with an inner collar that lifts the lid.
A premium variation of the telescopic format. An inner neck (shoulder) wraps the base and elevates the lid slightly, creating a refined reveal and a tighter, more deliberate closure.
Common usesSpirits, perfume, watches, jewellery, premium electronics.
Drawer & Sleeve Box
Inner tray that slides into an outer sleeve.
A two-part construction where a rigid tray slides into a printed outer sleeve. Excellent for sequential branding — sleeve reveals the brand, tray showcases the product.
Common usesCosmetics, jewellery, chocolates, tech accessories, sample kits.
Hinged Lid Box
Lid attached to base via a continuous spine.
Lid and base share a single rigid spine, similar to a hardcover book. Often paired with ribbon pulls, EVA inserts or velvet linings for jewellery and luxury accessories.
Common usesJewellery, fine pens, eyewear, watches, presentation cases.
Book-Style Box
Designed to look and open like a hardcover book.
A flat-format rigid box engineered with a book spine and front flap closure (often magnetic). Surfaces accept cloth, leatherette or fine printed papers for an editorial feel.
Common usesCoffee table editions, brand books, luxury invitations, hampers.
Collapsible Rigid Box
Foldable rigid construction with magnetic assembly.
Ships flat and snaps into a fully rigid box at the point of use — combining the strength of a set-up box with the freight efficiency of a folding carton. Ideal for D2C brands.
Common usesE-commerce gifting, subscription, retail packaging, festive kits.
Round / Shaped Tube Box
Cylindrical or custom-die rigid construction.
Rigid tubes and structurally die-cut shapes for products that benefit from non-rectangular silhouettes. Wrapped seamlessly with printed or textured stock.
Common usesSpirits, candles, scrolls, premium tea & coffee, accessories.

Rigid box production is part craft, part precision engineering. Every stage is documented, sampled and reviewed before scale-up.
Format, dimensions, mechanism, material and finish locked in a manufacturing brief.
Physical white sample, then printed pre-production sample for sign-off.
Offset printed wraps with calibrated colour, on stocks selected for the finish.
Precision-cut greyboard panels machined to tight tolerances.
Wrapping, gluing, fitting of magnets, ribbons and inserts.
Stage-wise inspection, packing in master cartons, dispatch with shipping marks.
